The outline for your video seems very interesting. I look forward to seeing the video. I like the idea of the "horror" blood introduction. I think this will be a good "attention getter." If you haven't already, I would look at some of the tutorials on our wiki, they've got some great tips for video making.

Jon - VERY cool idea. I love the horror idea. . . I'm curious (and looking forward to) about how you will get the blood running down the screen.
I would probably show ABO blood groups one at a time, unless you are short on time - and then show them all together.
Are you going to use background music? Maybe just some heartbeat sound effects?

I think the horror scream is definitely a good idea!! I like the contrast of how you get their attention with horror, but yet at the end you are ending with the picture from the blood donor poster that is happy. I think it is a good contrast. It seems like you have a good plan. I like Rita's idea about the heartbeat sound effects too if it fits in anywhere.

I love the idea of blood running down the screen. You might be able to capture a plain bright red image, save it as a picture, and then when you go to import it as a picture into Windows Movie Maker you can use one of the special effects or transitions so the image reveals itself in drips, streaks or drops. I checked out these effects this weekend there are some good ones. Also, I think that it would be more effective to show blood groups individually one clip at a time. Just some suggestions and visions I am seeing as I read your outline. Good job Jon, I look forward to viewing it!
