Design 2
After our discussion the week before last on design I am almost overwhelmed at how much you can see, hear, feel, touch, and I would guess also taste design that is all around us. The question that has stayed in my head since our last discussion that Dr. Schneiderman asked us was, Do you always need to see design? My answer is NO! Composing music is designed along with the textures of paper, and the tastes of food. For example, if you think of the flavor combinations of ice cream isn't that a form of design by mixing. Design is all around us but we just often over look it or just ate it.

Hey John,
You are absolutely right! You can see, taste, hear and smell design. Take cologne for instance. Every cologne is different by design. Scientists hang out in a room and mix fragrances until they get something that is original and enticing. Also the many vodka bottles that you see on the shelves of your local liquor store. Have you ever seen the Peconica Vodka bottle. It is made with potatoes (different design you can taste) so it has a picture of a potato field on one end of the bottle that enables you to see it through the vodka. pretty cool.
Way to stir up some thoughts.
